Frank joined Merseytravel in August 2006 as General Manager at Mersey Tunnels. A Chartered Civil Engineer by profession, Frank had spent the previous 23 years working in the UK construction industry on the development, design, construction and maintenance of a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects from the Channel Tunnel to the Cross Passages in the Kingsway Tunnel and the Refuges in Queensway Tunnel.
In September 2009 Frank became Director of Customer Services with responsibility for Mersey Ferries and Attractions, Hub Development, Tunnel Operations and Asset Management. He was appointed as interim head of paid service - taking on the roles of Merseytravel interim Chief Executive and Director General in November 2012.
